ok guy just wanted to share what ive been up to lately see what you think

its called pepakura making models out of card you can print out then taking it one step further if you want a go i can let any one have the files

ok first step print out model cut and glue looks something like this



then add 2 coats of resin to the out side



fiber glass the inside its now strong like plastic



add sponge for comfort



sand paint and add details/visor and leds





there you go my halo spartan IV helmet

ive also made

lol thanks mate yeah i liked that one was an easy build as well the lasers really make it

nice matey look real sweet

I did a few smaller models from same type of things not to that scale though

mmm wheres my scissors lol

Makes me wanna build some more lightsabers

lastest work and just finished gauntlets tonight so thought i would share them

just keeps getting better!

jango fett update just wanted to share most of armour now done painted and weathered also gaunlets weathered

Look awesome mate What sort of resin you using ? is it spray applied to give it smoothness ? Dont forget that real lightsaber i made to go with it

Btw any chance of a photo of it ? i lost the one i had of that one

the armor is made from old signs from work cut out heated and shaped the gauntlets and helmets are card models with resin on outside and fibreglass on the in side then a bit of car filler and sanding
